EXCURSION TO TANGO & CHERRY GOENBA
Among the places to visit in Thimphu, Tango Goemba is one of the oldest places. Tango Monastery is located close to the scenic mountains of Cheri in the north part of Thimphu district. The Tango Goemba is one of the holiest places in Bhutan where many saints meditated for months. The foundation of this monastery was laid way back in the 12th century. Tango Goemba is one of the largest Thimphu tourist attractions. Many international tourists visit the place to embrace the legendary history of the kingdom of Bhutan. The annual Yarney festival attracts monks from all around the country. The festival lasts for more than a month and follow the buddhist sacred vows. Overnight Stay at Thimphu.
THIMPHU TO PUNAKHKA
After breakfast, you will be taken on a three-hour road trip from Thimphu to Punakha/Wang due Phodrang, which is located a cross the famous Dochu La Pass.
During the road trip, you will pass through the Dochu la, where you will spotmaniwall, chorten, prayer flags, and others. This is the country’s highest road. You can even spot the peaks of surrounding mountains, if the sky is clear. Top peaks to spot during your drive are Masagang, Tsendagang, Terigang, Kangphugang, TableMountain, and others. This includes the Gangkhar Puensum peak, which is the highest in Bhutan. On Arrival Check in to the Hotel. Post Lunch You will see the following tourist sites in Punakha/Wang due include:

EXCURSION TOUR TO GANGTEY/ PHOBJIKHA
After breakfast drive to Gangtey valley. Its located in the beautiful, broad and U-shaped glacial valley of Phobjika. After arrival hotel checkin and later after lunch we will hike to nature trails. From the small hilltop overlooking Gangtey Goemba, head downhill through flower meadows to Semchubara village and from here through beautiful forests and into the open valley. After passing a chorten and Khewa Lhakhang, the trail ends at the local community school; this involves a 30minute walk up to the start of town. Black Necked Crane Information Centre
Situated on the edge of the forest and wetland along the mainroad of Phobjikha valley, the black-necked crane information Centre has an observation room equipped with high power telescope and spotting scopes for catching the bestview of the cranes. The centre also offers display information that outline the natural and cultural history of the area. There is a small gift shop, which sells handicrafts produced by the local people.

PUNAKHA/ WANGDUE TO PARO
After breakfast, you will leave Punakha/Wang due and drive to Parovia Dochu La Pass, covering Paro Chhu river valley and Wang Chhu river valley. On the way, you will be visiting Simtokha Dzong, an old fortress which is now a school for Dzong kha language. Once you reach Paro, you will be checked into a hotel. Later, you will be taken on a sightseeing tour covering important destinations of Paro:-
- Ta Dzong
- Rinpung Dzong

PARO LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After early morning breakfast, you will be starting a Excursion tour to Taktsang Monastery. Taksand Palphug Monastery also known as Tiger’s Nest is an amazing Buddhist monastery, temple and sacred site located in the upper Paro town.
Built in 1692, Padmasambhava is believed to have meditated at this site for 3years. Guru Padmasambhava is known to be the founder of Buddhism religion in Bhutan. He is immensely respected and has a huge number of sacred followers in Bhutan. Overnight at the Paro.
DAY EXCURSION TOUR TO CHELELA PASS
After breakfast an excursion trip to Chele-La-Pass (13,088 ft.) –the highest motorable road in Bhutan.
